Spirited Arts 2025 - Inspiring students to explore big questions through art

The National Association of Teachers of Religious Education (NATRE) is proud to announce the launch of the Spirited Arts Competition 2025. This global competition invites students to use their creative talents to explore profound questions about religious and non-religious worldviews. Now in its 21st year, the competition continues to inspire young minds to reflect on the world around them through art.

Angela Hill, NATRE Director, said:

As we celebrate the 21st year of the Spirited Arts competition, we’re thrilled by the depth, creativity, and thoughtfulness of this year’s entries. Every piece of artwork, across a range of mediums, showcases students’ rich perspectives on religion, belief, and philosophy. A huge thank you to the dedicated teachers who championed this competition in schools—your support is invaluable. We can’t wait to see even more inspiring work in 2025! Well done to all this year’s participants and winners.
